The Joy of Cycling

THE JOY OF CYCLING

There is a peaceful joy on a bicycle whether you are outside on roads or bike paths, feeling the breeze and the freedom or inside, on a stationary bike, feeling your body engage and wind of a fan.

As kids, a bike was a sign of independence, a tool of freedom, releasing us from the bonds of parents driving us everywhere.

As adults, the same is true (expect maybe the part about parents driving  us around). A bike is a sign of independence from the day, freedom from the chores of living, and an amazing tool for exercise and fitness.

With Parkinson’s, we know that currently exercise is the only known therapy that can actually slow the progression of the disease. Research also shows that cycling is some of the best exercise for Parkinson’s.

Join us on your bike for a thousand reasons: health, fitness, holding Parkinson’s at bay, but also for the community, the culture, and fun.

With unlimited live and pre-recorded classes each month you will ride with new friends and old friends, guided by coaches who love cycling.
