Jeff Seckendorf

Position: USA Cycling Coach

Jeff is a masters athlete and Level 2 USA Cycling Coach racing his bicycle on track. He has stood on the podium multiple times at the California state championships. He held the hour record in his age group at the San Diego Velodrome and is a course record holder at the World 6-Hour Time Trial Championships. Jeff’s current project on the bike is an attempt to break the U.S. hour record in the 70-74 age group.

Jeff is a highly motivated coach to masters athletes and “Gen O/W” (older/wiser) exercisers looking to achieve the best their minds and bodies can offer.

Stacey Brickson, PhD

Position: USA Cycling Coach, Physical Therapist

Dr. Stacey Brickson brings 30 years of sports medicine experience as a Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist to her athletes. She earned her PhD from UW-Madison in 2002 in Exercise with a focus on muscle injury and joined the Human Performance Lab in 2015 to conduct research evaluating metrics such as sleep, mood and training load as they correlate with injury. Stacey has worked with professional bike fitter Colin O’Brien at Cronometro for nearly a decade, doing musculoskeletal assessments as an integrated part of therapeutic bike fit. Stacey is a USA Cycling Level 1 coach and NICA Level 1 coach. She is passionate about pedaling as a form of exercise and competition for people of all ages and abilities.

Amy Wibholm, DPT, ATC

Amy received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1998 from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2001 from California State University, Long Beach and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of California, San Francisco in 2007. She has also been a certified athletic trainer since 1998 and specializes in injury prevention, rehabilitation, performance enhancement, vestibular rehab and balance training.

She enjoys working with a variety of clients and is passionate about motivating others to take the next step to improve their health. Goals include improving flexibility, strength, endurance and balance to allow her clients to maintain and improve their daily activities, hobbies and sporting activities. Amy has taught exercise classes/programs at the collegiate and high school settings and in retirement communities.

In her free time Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She also enjoys yoga, hiking, camping, softball, basketball, participating in triathlons, golfing, and reading.
